Audio snob, now you can listen to your Ipod with a portable and high-fidelity wireless stereo earphone system. Onkyo wants to preserve the originality of audio playback, unlike Bluetooth technology with compressed audio; their MHP-UW2 wireless system uses an uncompressed and robust 2.4Ghz digital connection, promises to deliver truly CD quality sound over the air.

Today LG announced the Prada II, successor to the Prada, released in 2007. The largest difference between the two is that the Prada II has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. It has dual-band 850/2100 MHz 7.2Mbps HSDPA radios and Wi-Fi. The camera is 5 megapixels and has a Schneider-Kreuznach certified lens. The Prada II will be availabe in selet European markets in the fourth quarter for 600 Euros ($818).

LG have finally unleashed the much-rumored KC780 slider phone. Its major attraction is the 8 Mpix camera module with Schneider-Kreuznach lenses housed in a relatively compact casing, whose thickness doesn’t exceed 13.9 mm. On top of that it comes bundled with a 2.4-inch display. As LG claims, the KC780 is tweaked mainly for shooting portraits, rather than anything else, hence its advanced feats on this front, such as smile dection and face recognition. The phone is set to go on sale in Europe some time in November, and then it’ll go on to spread across the globe.
